The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious.

We faced a significant issue with the toilet flushing in our Superior Suite. Despite the staff's prompt response, the problem persisted throughout our stay. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and frustration, making our experience less enjoyable than it should have been.

the kitchenette was a smooth experience, except for the refrigerator that was a true performance artist, opening at odd angles, very entertaining. oh, and the room smelled like bug spray after every cleaning, how charmingly eco-unfriendly. imagine my surprise when I didn’t even recieve an upgrade. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

A cozy cabin escape

Discovering the delightful Agouti wildlife trail was a highlight, providing a fantastic workout while spotting exotic animals. The poached eggs at breakfast were a culinary dream, perfectly fluffy and delicious.

The kitchenette could use a little more thought. the refrigerator opened awkwardly and made it tricky to access sometimes. Also, the room had a bug spray smell after cleaning, which felt out of place in such a beautiful setting.

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend respite

Beautiful room, beautiful breakfast, providing a cozy atmosphere complemented by quick service and free wi-fi, while being conveniently located within walking distance to fantastic restaurants and activities.

We had a delightful experience at the hotel. the breathtaking landscaping attracted a myriad of hummingbirds and butterflies. The spacious private patio was perfect for morning coffee while taking in the views. The restaurant served the best dinner of our trip, spotlighting local ingredients beautifully.

However, the room had a persistent smell of bug spray after cleaning, which wasn't very pleasant for an eco-friendly setting.

The beautiful grounds were well-maintained, with charming cabins easily accessible to seniors. The lovely trails made our daily walks enjoyable, allowing us to appreciate nature's splendor without any difficulty.

The grounds are beautiful and it’s nice there

are so many trails to walk on in and nearby the resort. We enjoyed watching the wildlife around us, especially the hummingbirds. However, I wished the vegetarian dinner options were more varied because they felt a bit bland and lacked protein-rich choices.

Free wi-fi in rooms, valet parking was great. Wish laundry service was quicker.

The abundant wildlife around the lodge was enchanting, like having my own personal nature documentary! Watching hummingbirds flit about while sipping on fresh juice was a highlight of my stay, offering a peaceful escape.

relax in paradise with warm water bottles and friendly staff

the attention to detail left us speechless. every night, warm water bottles in our bed were so comforting. the local food was delicious, adding to our magical stay.

Cute cabins, amazing food, enjoyed hiking the trails. Valet parking was a plus. Lots of hills.

During our family trip, we enjoyed our time at the hotel with its incredibly cute cabins. The attention to detail was impressive, especially with complementary items like free high-quality snacks and fresh juices in the room. The staff was exceptionally organized, arranging our activities and transportation efficiently. Access to the Agouti wildlife trail was a highlight, providing both exercise and wildlife viewing right on the property. The food was delightful, especially the perfectly cooked poached eggs for breakfast.

senda monteverde hotel member of the cayuga collection offers super cute cabins and impressive service. the staff was incredibly helpful, organizing all our activities and tours. the location is close to town, making it easy to grab food. we loved the unique ceviche making class they offered!

would recommend
